Kaveri Gopalakrishnan is an independent comics-maker and illustrator from India.

Her original graphic stories have been published in 'Drawing the line' (Zubaan Books, India), Sprïng Magazin (Germany), European Comic Art (Berghan Books, Europe), First Hand (YodaPress, India), The Hindu BLink among others.

Kaveri has been illustrating professionally since 2012, with leading publishing houses and organisations in India and abroad. ‘Two’ is her first graphic novel for young adults, released in 2017 by Scholastic India with three other creators. In the area of children’s books, she has art-directed 25+ books and illustrated eight publications, so far, translated into 30+ languages.

Kaveri's original work has been exhibited at Comix Creatix (UK), Internationaler Comic-Salon Erlangen (Germany) and East London Comic Arts Festival (UK). At present, she is part of the international show Mangasia: Wonderlands of Asian Comics, the largest ever exhibition of Asian comics art, touring across various continents.
